The government has extended the restrictions on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel, and a number of other petroleum products from Russia for an additional five months, until July 31, 2026. The corresponding decree was published on the official website of the Cabinet on January 31.

This decision aims to maintain a stable situation in the Russian fuel market, as explained by the government press service. The ban does not affect supplies under intergovernmental agreements or humanitarian deliveries.
